Dental Hygiene

Dental Hygiene is the training of retaining one's oral health. It encompasses brushing teeth twice a day, flossing every day, and visiting the dentist often. Professionals known as dental hygienists are responsible for providing precautionary dental care, which embraces cleaning teeth, removing plaque and calculus, and applying preventive materials to teeth and gums. They may also offer educational information to the patient on appropriate oral hygiene and the use of fluoride. Furthermore, they might take x-rays and make impressions of teeth. The intention of a dental hygienist is to afford the patient with the information and tools required to sustain good oral health.
